How to sell your used phone faster
Used-phone buyers are afraid of three things: a copy of a famous model, a phone locked to someone's account, and a battery or screen that fails after a month. A listing that answers those fears sells faster.
Prepare the phone
- Back up your photos and chats.
- Remove your Google account and the maker's account (Settings, Accounts), then factory reset.
- Clean the port and the camera glass. Find the box and the receipt.
Prove it is good
Run a full Knowfone check before you reset, then open Seller certificate on the report. It is a picture with the phone's name, the answer, all twelve parts and a QR code that opens the report. Watching one short ad unlocks it; if no ad is available it is free.
Write the listing
- Real photos in daylight, including the edges and the screen switched on.
- Model and storage as Settings shows them, the battery health from the report, and any honest flaw.
- The seller certificate as one of the photos, and an offer to let the buyer run Knowfone when you meet.
